NUEVA MINI-ESCENA - New mini-scene

Puede que os estéis preguntando: "¿Una estantería con libros? o quizás ya la habéis encontrado...

Tutorial fácil de lámparas decorativas escala 1:12 - Easy DIY 1:12th scale lamps

Seguimos reciclando. Para realizar estas lámparas he utilizado hueveras y chinchetas. También váis a necesitar cola, pinturas y lazo o cintas de pasamanería.

We keep on recycling. In order to make these lamps I've used eggcups and pins. You'll also need glue. painting and laces.

Se cortan las hueveras con tijera según el tamaño que queramos para nuestra lámpara.

Cut the eggcups according to the size you want for your lamp.

Quitamos el clavo o aguja a las chinchetas y pegamos entre sí las que queramos, hasta que tengan la largura que queramos.

Remove the needle from the pins and stick together as many pins as you want, until they have the length you want.

  Luego se pegan las chinchetas a la tulipa. Y se pinta y decora al gusto!

 Then, glue the pins to the tulip. Finally paint and decorate as you like

Mi primer tutorial: UN RELOJ  ESCALA 1:12- My first tuto: A 1:12th SCALE CLOCK

Ya comenté que me gustaría poner tutoriales , pero hasta ahora me ha sido imposible por mil y una razones (bueno, no tantas, jeje). Pero ahora ha llegado el momento y aquí tenéis mi primer tutorial.
A mí me gusta reutilizar y reciclar materiales para mis miniaturas. De esta manera es asequible a todo el mundo, cuidamos el planeta y ponemos a trabajar nuestra imaginación. En este caso, se trata de relojes hechos con tapones de envases tetrabrick.

 I told you I'd like to show you my tutos, but up to now it's been impossible for me for a lot of reasons. But now I'm ready to show them to you. As you already know, I love reusing and recycling different materials for my miniatures. In this way this is available for everybody, we look after the planet and at the same time our imagination  keeps working on. In this case, we have clocks made with caps from milk or juice containers.

Hay muchos modelos distintos de tapones, pero a mí los que más me gustan son los blancos (porque después van pintados) que tienen un borde a modo de marco para la esfera,

There are different kinds of caps, but the ones I like best are the white ones (later they are painted) with an edge similar to a frame for the clock face.

 Aquí tenéis distintos tipos de esferas. Hay que medir el tapón e imprimir la esfera para que encaje bien. Se recorta y se pega sobre el tapón previamente pintado del color que queramos. Luego se da una o dos capas de barniz. Finalmente se tapa por detrás con una circunferencia de cartón del mismo color que el reloj y listo!!

Here you have different kinds of clock faces. First you have to measure the cap and later print the face so that it fits properly. Cut it off and glue it to the cap previously painted in the colour you like. Then  apply one or two varnish layers. Finally, cover the backside with a cardboard from the same colour of the clock and that's it!!

  Ahora ya solo queda buscarle un sitio apropiado para poder presumir de reloj!

And now you only have to look for an appropiate place so that you can show off!!

Escena 1:12 para un niño - 1:12th Scene for a boy

Por fuera una camiseta del real Madrid, su equipo favorito!

At first sight a real Madrid t-shirt, his favourite football team!

Por dentro, oh! sorpresa! su habitación con todos sus tesoros!

But we open the door, and...oh, surprise! his bedroom with all his treasures! 

Todo está hecho a mano con diversos materiales: madera, papel, arcilla polimérica, alambre, cartón...y alguna cosilla reciclada.

Everything is made using different materials such as wood, paper, polimeric clay, wire, cardboard... and some recycled stuff.

Una nueva Papelería - A new Stationery

Otra vez de compras. Esta vez en una mini papelería. Es la segunda que hago, pero totalmente diferente de la otra. Su propietaria es una niña. Y seguro que viendo todas las cositas que he incluído podéis adivinar sus gustos. Adelante, echad un vistazo!

Once again shopping. This time in a mini-stationery. It's the second I've made, but this one is completely different from the other one. Its owner is a girl. And I'm sure that watching the little things I've included, you can guess her likes . Come in and have a look!

Everything you can see is 1:12 scale handmade.

Sí, lo habéis adivinado. Una de las cosas que más le gustan son las manualidades, en concreto las Hama-beads. Estas bolsitas están hechas con las bolitas para decorarse las uñas.

Yes, you guessed it! One of the things she likes most is Crafts, specifically Hama-beads. These little bags are made using the tiny balls used for decorating nails.

  Y sí, también lo habéis adivinado. ha sido un regalo para su Primera Comunión! Con la muñequita y su foto, su primera Biblia, álbumes de fotos... Casi todo está hecho con papel, cartón y cartulina. excepto las mochilas, para las que he utilizado fieltro.

And yes, you guessed again. It's been a present for her First Communion! with the doll and her photograph, her first Bible, photo albums.... Almost everything is made with paper and different kinds of cardboard, except the schoolbags, which are made with felt.

ESCENAS INFANTILES - BABY SCENES

Aquí os presento dos nuevas escenas. Esta vez se trata de escenas infantiles con motivo de un bautizo. Están hechas a escala 1:12 y personalizadas con fotografías, álbumes de fotos y juguetes personales. Tanto Mireia como Maider tienen a partir de ahora un recuerdo muy especial de un día muy especial!

Here you have two new scenes. This time we're talking about baby scenes as presents for their baptisms. They're 1.12th scale and are customized with photographs, photo albums and personal toys. Mireia as well as Maider, from now on, own a very special remembrance from a very special day!

IX Encuentro de Coleccionistas en Vitoria

El próximo fin de semana 23 y 24 de mayo tendrá lugar el noveno encuentro de coleccionistas en el  centro comercial Dendaraba (en frente de El Corte Inglés). Allí estaré yo con mi puestecito junto a más de 50 coleccionistas de todo tipo: pins, sellos, monedas, minerales, juguetes antiguos, dedales, etc. Si os animáis, allí os espero.

Mis American Stores en TOM BISHOP CHICAGO ABRIL 2015

 ¿Os acordáis que hace tiempo hice una mini tienda sobre Nueva York para mi tía? Pues bien, el año pasado una miniaturista la vio y le encantó. Y como ella es asídua de la feria Tom Bishop, me encargó cuatro escenas para llevar a Chicago. Aunque parecen iguales no lo son, pues están hechas totalmente a mano, y si os fijáis bien encontraréis las diferencias. Espero que gusten allí tanto como aquí. ¡Ojalá pudiera  ir para verlas!

Do you remember the little shop I made about New York a long time ago fot my aunt? Last year a miniaturist saw it and she loved it. As she usually goes to Tom Bishop's Fairs, she made me an order, asking for four of them to take away to Chicago. Although they look like quite the same, they are not, because they are completely handmade, and if you pay attention you'll find the differences. I hope they like them there as much as here. I wish I could go to see them!

PROYECTO 5ª PARTE - 5th PART PROJECT

Ya hemos llegado al tejado! Aunque todavía está desnudo, sin pintar, sin tejas...

We've already reached the roof! It's still naked, with no paint, no tiles,...though.

Y aquí con luz, aunque sin lámparas todavía.

And here lighted, although it has still no lamps.

Y eso es todo, amigos!

And that's all, falks!

PROYECTO 4ª PARTE - 4th PART PROJECT

Aquí van mis nuevos avances con la que he bautizado LA CASITA AZUL.

Here you can see the progress I've been doing in THE LITTLE BLUE HOUSE, as I have named it, 

En esta foto se ve la chimenea exterior, que además de ser decorativa, la he utilizado para tapar las pilas con interruptor.

In this picture you can see the chimney, which apart from being ornamental, has been used to hide the batteries .

En esta foto, se ve el tejado y la pared en la planta de arriba para separar el dormitorio del baño.

In this picture, you can see the roof and the inside wall to separate the bedroom from the bathroom.

Aquí  se ve la parte interior del tejado donde he colocado las luces. Esta parte tiene una doble pared para ocultar las luces.

Here you can see the inside part of the roof where the lights are placed. This part has got a double wall to hide the lights.

Y aquí la casita por dentro con su suelo de moqueta para el dormitorio y baldosas para el baño, y con su friso y pared pintada.

And here the little house with the carpet-floor for the bedroom and tiles for the bathroom, and with wood and painting for the walls.

Y aquí con su color definitivo para el exterior. De ahí lo de CASITA AZUL.

And here with the final colour . Because of that, the name of THE LITTLE BLUE HOUSE.
