CASA PALACIO

Como os prometí, aquí os presento la Casa Palacio que hice para otra amiga. Al igual que la anterior, hacía tiempo empezó la colección de esta casa, e incluso comenzó su montaje. Pero no le resultó fácil y la dejó abandonada en el desván. Años después, al ver la Casa Rústica, se acordó de la suya y me pidió que se la montara y decorara. Y aquí está el resultado:

As I promised to you, here you have the Casa Palacio I made for another friend of mine. She began the collection a long time ago, and even started to set it up. But it became rather difficult and gave it up. Some years later, after seeing La Casa Rústica, she reminded of hers and asked me to set it up and decorate it. And here is the result:

CASA RUSTICA 

Hace ya unos meses, me propusieron montar y decorar una Casa Rústica. Su dueña había comprado hace años los fascículos y los tenía arrinconados en un altillo en su casa. A mí me pareció un reto y una idea maravillosa, ya que nunca había hecho yo una casa de muñecas. Así que me puse manos a la obra, y con ayuda de mi marido, sobre todo para la estructura, conseguimos este resultado. Espero que disfrutéis la visita a esta acogedora casa de montaña.

Some months ago I was told to assemble and decorate La Casa Rústica. Its owner had bought a long time ago the fascicles of the collection of this house.I thought of it as a challenge as I had never made a dolls house. So I got down to work and, with my husband's help, to assemble the structure, here you have the result. I hope you enjoy the visit to this cosy mountain house.

 La mayor parte de los muebles venían con la colección, sin embargo, como podía hacerla a mi gusto, cambié algunas cosas e incluí otras nuevas.
Most of the furniture belong to the collection, however, as I was allowed to make it as I liked, I changed some things and included some others.

 Los cojines son obra mía. El del pato está hecho apunto de cruz. Los cuadros son láminas sacadas de internet. El jarrón de la mesilla está hecho con una bola de una pulsera y unas florecillas secas.
The cushions are made by me. The one with a duck is made using cross stitch. the pictures have been taken from the internet. The vase on the bedside table is made with a bead from a bracelet and some dried flowers.

  La butaca y el escabel también están hechos enteros por mí, al igual que el cojín de punto de cruz.
The armchair and the footstool are also made by me, and so is the cross stitch cushion.

El salón está presidido por la chimenea. Encima puse un cuadro enorme de un perro de caza, en la repisa unos candelabros con velas de verdad, y a un lado un banco que en la parte inferior guarda la leña para el invierno.
The living room is presided by the chimney. Above it there is a big picture of a pointer dog, and on the mantelpiece some true candles, and next to the chimney there is a bench, which keeps the firewood for the winter.

Las ventanas exteriores están decoradas con jardineras llenas de plantas y flores hechas por mí. Para ello he utilizado pasta de secado al aire, arcilla polimérica, y hierba artificial de colores especial para maquetas de tren.
The outdoor windows are decorated with lots of plants and flowers made by me. For that I've used air drying clay, polimeric clay and artificial grass special for train models.

Próximamente pondré fotos de una Casa Palacio. Otro encargo, esta vez de una amiga de la anterior. Y anunciaré en breve UN SORTEO, que ya va siendo hora, verdad? así que ...atentos....

MAS IMPRIMIBLES - MORE PRINTABLES

Esta vez se trata de papeles de pared en tonos pastel: rosa, verde, azul y amarillo. Uno es de rayas finas y el otro de rombitos. Pinchad en las imágenes para ver más grande. Están pensados para imprimir en DinA4. A poder ser de alto gramaje. Espero que os gusten y os sean útiles.

Here you have wall papers in soft colours to print: pink, green, blue and yellow. One of them is striped and the other one checked. Click on the pictures to make them bigger. I've thought them for printing in Din A4. and of about 80-100gr. I hope you like it!

DESPACHO DE ABOGADO - LAWYER'S OFFICE

Si os acordáis, la última foto que publiqué contenía un maletín, un mazo, una lámpara de biblioteca y unos libros. Y yo os retaba a que adivinaráis cúal sería la nueva escena en la que estaba trabajando y en la que aparecían dichos objetos.  Pues sí, era un despacho de abogado. Encontráis los objetos en la foto?

If you remember, in the last picture I published, there were a small leather suitcase, a mallet, a library lamp and some books. And I challenged you to guess what the new scene I was working on and in which these objects appeared could be. And of course, it was a lawyer's office. Can you find the objects in the picture?

 Esta es la foto del exterior de la escena. Al tratarse de un encargo, he intentado que se pareciera lo más posible al edificio en el que se encuentra el despacho.

This is the picture of the outside part. As it was an order, I've tried to do it as similar as possible  to the buiding where the office is.

 Como puede apreciarse las paredes exteriores son de ladrillo. Estos van pintados uno a uno dentro de una misma gama de colores, pero todos ellos distintos. Menudo trabajo!! jeje!

As you can see, the walls are made of bricks. these have been painted individually within the same range of colours, but being all of them different. Quite a lot of work! jaja!

  Aquí tenemos otra foto del interior, pero esta vez con luz. Es una lámpara que va con pila de botón, y que se sujeta al techo por medio de un imán. Muy cómodo!

Here we have another picture of the inside, but this time lighted. It's a lamp which works with a buttom battery and sticks to the ceiling by means of a magnet. It's very handyl!

  Como no podía faltar, aquí tenemos el típico armario-librería con un montón de libros y carpetas...La mayoría de los imprimibles de libros antiguos están sacados de una revista de miniaturas. Los de la estantería de abajo de internet. la balanza está hecha con clips dorados, latón para los platillos y la estructura de madera. Los tinteros están hechos con cuentas de collares y las plumas son de verdad.

And her we find an essential "must-have" in any lawyer's office, a complete bookcase with lots of books, folders, files.... Most of the printables used in the making of the old books have beeen taken from a magazine about miniatures. The bottom shelf ones from internet. The balance is completely hand-made using golden clips, brass for the plates and wood for the strusture. For the ink pots I've used beads and the feathers are real.

En esta foto de la pared derecha, vemos un cuadro de la diosa de la justicia, presidiendo el despacho, y otro cuadrito con una balanza. El marco de éste es un colgante y la balanza es un pin customizado.

In this picture of the wall on the right, we can see a painting of the Justice Godess, presiding over the office, and other little picture with a balance. The frame of this one is part of a necklace, and the balance is a customized pin.

En esta pared de la izquierda, vemos cuatro cuadros con la orla, el título y otros diplomas.

In this wall on the left, there are four pictures with the University Degree, and different Diplomas.

 En la mesa , vemos la lámpara, el mazo de madera, una agenda con su bolígrafo, y el ordenador..Delante está el maletín, hecho con un trozo de piel de una cartera real. Espero que os haya gustado.

On the table, we can see the lamp, the wood mallet, an agenda with a pen, and the computer. In front of it, there is a  suitcase, made of a piece of leather taken from a wallet of mine. I hope you've enjoyed a lot!
